Program for Veterans and Service Members

Website Design for Veteran-Owned Businesses

If you served and you own the company, your website build and your first term of Fuel, our monthly local SEO program, are 15 percent off. You get the same site, the same booked launch day, and the same search work every client gets.

A Website Built to the Standard You Hold Your Own Work To

Veteran-owned companies tend to run on reputation: referrals, repeat customers, and crews who show up when they say they will. The website is often the one part of the business that never got the same attention, and buyers who have not met you yet judge the company by it.

This program takes 15 percent off the build and the first Fuel term for businesses owned by veterans and service members. Your site is replaced with a complete, fully optimized one in days, and Fuel starts working your Business Profile, listings, reviews, and content the day you check out.

Fire and Cloud is not a veteran-owned business. The discount recognizes your service, and the work is held to the same standard as every other build we ship.

What the Veteran Discount Covers

The discount applies to both website programs, Flame Authority and Blaze the Market, and to the first term of Fuel that comes with them.

Included in the 15 percent

  • The website build, whether you pay in full or split it into two payments
  • Your first six months of Fuel on the standard signup
  • Your first twelve months of Fuel if you commit to a twelve-month first term
  • Hosting while Fuel runs, which is already included in Fuel

Billed at the standard rate

  • Fuel after your first term ends and it renews
  • Hosting and Website Care Plans after Fuel stops
  • Any second discount or promotion, other than the savings for paying the build in full
  • Ember, Business Profile optimization, and other services bought on their own

Program prices are on the pricing page. The discount is taken from those prices at checkout, and the program terms are part of our terms of service.

Who Qualifies for the Veteran Discount

The business must be at least 51 percent owned by one or more people in these groups.

Veterans

  • Veterans of any branch with an honorable or general discharge
  • Retired service members

Currently serving

  • Active-duty service members
  • Members of the National Guard
  • Members of the Reserve

Ownership is confirmed from your Florida Sunbiz filing, your state's business record, or an SBA VetCert certification. A company with two owners qualifies when the owner who served holds at least 51 percent.

How the Veteran Discount Works

Send the Eligibility Form

Tell us your business, your share of ownership, and how you served. Do not send photos of any ID. Nothing sensitive goes through the form.

Show Proof on a Short Call

On a brief video call or in person, you hold up one proof of service. We look at it, note that it was seen, and never copy, photograph, or keep it.

Get Your Single-Use Code

We email a code tied to your business and the first term you chose. You enter it on the secure Stripe payment page, and the discount shows before you pay.

Check Out and Book Your Launch Day

After checkout you go straight to your setup form, and the same link arrives by email. Your launch window starts the day that form is complete.

Accepted proof of service

  • VA Veteran ID Card
  • Veteran Health Identification Card
  • A Florida driver license or ID card with the Veteran designation, or your state's equivalent
  • A current military ID card
  • An SBA VetCert certification for the business

Any one of these is enough. If yours is not listed, bring it to the call and we will tell you on the spot whether it works.

Eligibility

Check Your Eligibility for the Veteran Discount

Send the form and you will hear back by the end of the next business day to set up a short verification call. Once your code is issued, it works on either website program.

You will not find military seals or branch emblems on this site. Those marks are reserved for official use, and this program does not need them.

You will hear back by the end of the next business day.

Common Questions

Common Questions from Veteran Business Owners

Who qualifies for the veteran website discount?

Businesses at least 51 percent owned by a veteran with an honorable or general discharge, a retired service member, or someone currently serving on active duty, in the National Guard, or in the Reserve.

How do you verify military service?

You show one accepted proof, such as a VA Veteran ID Card or a military ID, on a short video call or in person. We view it and note that it was seen. We never copy, photograph, or store it.

Does the discount continue after my first Fuel term?

No. It covers the build and your first Fuel term, which is six months on the standard signup or twelve months if you commit to twelve. When Fuel renews after that term, it bills at the standard rate.

Can I combine the veteran discount with other offers?

You keep the savings for paying the build in full. The discount does not combine with any other promotion or discount.

Do I need to be in Florida to use the program?

No. Fire and Cloud is based in Jacksonville and builds sites for businesses across the country. Verification happens on a video call, so location does not matter.

Is Fire and Cloud a veteran-owned business?

No. Fire and Cloud is not veteran-owned, and we do not present ourselves that way. The program is how we recognize the service of the owners we work with.
