This privacy policy describes how we handle information collected through this website, including through our contact form and our online checkout. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for any purpose other than responding to your inquiry, processing your payment, and delivering contracted services.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, business name, and the content of your message. This information is submitted voluntarily. You are not required to provide it to use this website.

Information You Provide at Checkout

When you buy a package or start a hosting subscription, our payment processor collects your name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, and the website or project name you enter. It also collects your payment card details, which go directly to the processor and are never transmitted to us or stored on our systems.

We receive the order record: what you bought, the amount, the date, your contact and billing details, and the last four digits and card brand. We ask for this information because we need it to invoice you, deliver the work, and keep accurate business records. We do not ask for anything at checkout that we do not need for one of those three purposes.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit this website, basic technical data may be collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL. This information is collected through standard web server logs and, if enabled, through an analytics service. We use this data only to understand how the site is used and to identify technical issues.

Payments and Checkout

Payments on this website are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you complete a checkout, you are on a page hosted by Stripe, and your card details are handled entirely by Stripe under its own security standards. Fire and Cloud Consulting never sees, receives, or stores your full card number, expiration date, or security code.

Stripe acts as an independent data controller for the payment information it collects, which means it handles that data under its own privacy policy rather than ours. You can read it at stripe.com/privacy.

Recurring Subscriptions

If you start a hosting subscription, Stripe stores your payment method so it can charge the subscription automatically until you cancel. That stored payment method lives with Stripe, not with us. We can see that a payment method exists and whether a charge succeeded, and we can cancel or refund a subscription, but we cannot view the underlying card details.

Fraud Prevention

Stripe screens transactions for fraud and uses technical signals such as IP address, device information, and card behavior for that purpose. This screening happens on Stripe's systems as part of processing your payment.

How We Use It

We use the information you submit through our contact form to:

• Schedule and conduct an initial consultation
• Deliver services if you become a client

If you make a payment, we use your order and billing information to:

Stripe (Payment Processing)

Stripe processes all payments made through this website and stores payment methods for recurring subscriptions. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the strictest certification level in the payments industry. Its privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Google Fonts

This site uses Google Fonts to load the Manrope typeface. When a page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to retrieve the font file. Google may log this request. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, including which pages get viewed, how long visitors stay, and what site or search engine referred them here. Google Analytics does not receive your name, email address, or anything you submit through our contact form.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained in our form inbox for as long as the inquiry is active and for a reasonable period after it closes. If you request that we delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to retain it for an ongoing engagement or legal obligation.

Payment and invoice records are different. Tax and accounting rules require us to keep them, so order records, invoices, and receipts are retained for at least seven years even if you ask us to delete other information. Stripe retains its own transaction records under its own schedule.

Your Rights

You may contact us at any time to:

• Request a correction to inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw any consent you have previously given
